    Pre-Ordering a Game with a Gift card


    I have some Xbox gift cards that expire in November and the game I want to pre-order releases next year. If I pre-order the game now, will the gift cards go to the final bill, or will they expire and not give me a discount when the game releases?

    I just hate how I can pre-order madden 15 on the MS store and it comes with a $10 gift card, but if I pre-order it through my xbox one its the same price without the gift card. Pre-orders should just be $49.99 then without the GC

    This will work for standard games but I could not get it to work for pre-orders. In that situation I had to buy a gift card and then send the person the number so they could go in and pre-order the game.
