Pre-ordered Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition, still no EA code for Halo Wars Definitive Edition

This problem seems extremely common and even the actual game devs seem concerned. I'm making this post because I'm not sure what else to do as it feels like everyone else has gotten their token by now but me.

Okay basically, for pre-ordering Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition, one of the bonuses with that was a copy of Halo Wars Definitive Edition, which is a remastered version of the original game. We were supposed to start having early access codes sent to us starting
on the 20th, and we were told we should start receiving them in waves from then to about 10 days. For the first couple of days however, it seemed as if no one had actually been sent anything, and since then, the whole thing's been chaotic. My main concern
is, I feel I should have gotten my code by now, and I'm not sure what is going on. I preordered the game on October 24, but there are some people on the official Reddit page who are saying they got their code already even though they preordered much more recently
than me - some even on the 20th of December. I'm curious as to how the priority is supposed to work here, if any... Are we all just being picked at complete random out of a hat, or is there something wrong? I have yet to receive a message with a code yet.
