Pre-ordered Gears of War 4 but still have not received any codes in messages from 360 versions ...

Shopto just stopped helping on twitter after proving the advertised the codes too.

They are adamant that they have not received any though and I am inclined to believe them.

Codes for this specific promotion are not sent within 7-10 days, however pre-order customers can expect to receive their codes closer to the release of Gears of War 4. You can find this information over at the official
Gears of War Pre-order page.

Codes will be sent out within 30 days from the day you started Gears of War 4. Please keep in mind you would need to have started Gears of War 4 in order to be eligible. Please keep an eye out on your Xbox Live Messages for the codes to be sent to you. I'm
unsure where you received Gears of War 1, as that should be part of the codes you'll receive via the messaging.

I donno why xbox support didn't tell you

But if you go to the gears of war 4 page you can see the terms and conditions

They are sent out in waves you will simply have to wait your turn in the waves

This is due to prevent spaming the server with millions of requests for the same codes and downloads remember each code is unique and have to be generated by a small team

On top of which adding a download queue in the millions will prevent you from downloading for days to weeks it's makes more sense to stagger the release of codes over a couple weeks in waves
