Pre-ordered game not available

so I pre-ordered destroy all humans about a month ago and was charged $42. About 2 days ago I was charged another $42 for the game again. So I requested a refund for it and it was processed but I guess Microsoft thought i wanted a refund for the game itself?
No I just wanted the money back from the random charge. Now I have to purchase the game again? Need help this is irritating

Digital pre-ordering is not an available feature yet on the xbox one but could become available in a future update.

In order to play the Destiny beta you had to pre-order the game but you had to pre-order it by a certain date in order to get a code.

actually it is availible for pre order now just go to destiny pre order page then select game stop instead of microsoft i just pre ordered it myself so excited!

You're not alone. I've had the same issue in the past by preordering through Microsoft. Each time it's the same double charge problem with the same un-helpful answer from Microsoft, just like you got. I just stopped preordering through Microsoft and go
through a third party like GameStop. Usually the same price but without the hassles.

How did you pay for the game? If you pre-order using a credit card, you're not charged until within 10 days of the game releasing. So you wouldn't have actually paid when you pre-ordered a month ago and the charge you recently had would have been the actual
charge for the game. So you would need to re-purchase it if you canceled the pre-order.
