Pre-Ordered content not appearing in store.

So i already pre-ordered Gears of War 4 and Recore on my Xbox. When Recore came out i tried downloading it onto my laptop since its a playanywhere game, but for some reason when i try and open it in the store the window says "The thing you're looking for
isn't here. and give me error code 0X00000005. This happens when i try and open Gears 4 in the Microsoft store as well. I really want to be able to play xbox on my PC but i cant for the life of me figure out where i can download the game. please help!

Pre-order content missing

I pre ordered Titanfall 2 in September.

I installed the pre order bonus content "Nitro Scorch Pack".

The content was not appearing in the game so I uninstalled it.

When I went to reinstall it, I could not locate the content.

It is not under "Ready to install" in my games and apps. And I cannot find it in the store.

I've spoken to Xbox chat but they told me to come here.

To clarify. have you upgraded your Windows 10 version to the Windows Anniversary version? This is required in order to be able to take advantage of the Xbox Play Anywhere promotion with games like ReCore and Gears of War 4.

If you haven't, be sure to do that and check in the Windows Store for the download. Let us know how it goes!

 

So I have the anniversary update for windows 10, but I stil don't have the option to download gears of war 4 on my pc. Is this something you cant preload on pc, and I have pre ordered the normal edition of gears on the xbox one. When I look in the store
on pc, under my games nothing shows up. Can anyone help?

Maybe you can try these steps:

• Check your Windows version by pressing the Windows key + R. type winver then press enter.
  
• If it says 1607, you are good. Otherwise download an install the update from here https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12387/windows-10-update-history
  
• Once all updated, open the Windows Store app from the task bar and head to your account.
  
• Click on your user picture and choose My Library
• If Gears of War 4 doesn't appear there, click on Show All
• If you see it, press the Arrow to download the game on you computer

If it still doesn't work, try to rest the Windows Store by typing wsreset in a command prompt.
