Pre-ordered and Pre-downloaded: FAILED TO LAUNCH

Didn't have any install errors. It just installed, all 59.1 GB, and when I went to play it, I had to click install again. It quickly went to 100% and gave me the option to 'Play'. Unfortunately, every time I went to hit play, it began to launch, and then
sent me right back to the home screen. I tried hard resetting my Xbox, but to no avail. When I complained to customer support, I had to wait 30 minutes to talk to a representative. And this was just to talk to an online representative! Finally, I wasn't offered
any compensation for my loss, the download was removed, and I was given a refund and lost my pre-order Boom skull. Horrible customer service, horrible product delivery! Absolutely outraged, and would not recommend Xbox to anyone since its number one appeal
(Halo exclusivity) is a failure!

I pre-ordered on the 8th November and I downloaded the game and the Assassins Pack in the pre-ordered state immediately.

Wow have temper tantrums much? Good thing I have Sunset Overdrive, COD: AW, The Evil Within and many other games to pass the time until they fix a game that I played and beat when they originally came out on Xbox and Xbox 360.

For digital download pre-orders, the code should be immediately sent to you after you pre-order.

For physical game pre-orders, the code will be included with the actual game at launch date.

I pre-ordered both consoles through Amazon.

If you order through Amazon, they have launch day bundles for the PS4 that are still available for pre-order. Since Sony has not given an official release date, my shipping date is 31DEC. However, the launch day edition (no bundle) is unavailable for pre-order.
If you pre-order the standard edition (not launch edition), you MIGHT get an email later on that says Amazon upgraded your standard edition to launch day edition, guaranteeing you will receive yours on that day. This also applies to the Xbox One, which is
what happened to me. I pre-ordered Xbox One on 15JUN, then I received an email six days laters that said Amazon upgraded my pre-order to launch day. Keep in mind, there is only one bundle for the Xbox One, so I would do it fast.
