Pre-ordered a game but my Order History says my Payment failed

Hi there! I have encountered a bit of a problem regarding the Pre-ordering of a game. On June 15th I preordered The Walking Dead: The Final Season - The Complete Season Pre-order for €23.99 by using my Bank Card (which at the time of purchase I had more
than enough money to preorder the game). Today I was curious to see the purchases I made over the last couple of years so I checked my purchase history. However when I was going through my history I noticed that it said my Payment for The Walking Dead: The
Final Season had failed and that I have to pay by August 14th, which is when The Walking Dead: The Final Season will release. Why is this happening? When I preordered the game the Microsoft Store downloaded it to my Games and Apps and it seemed that my purchase
was successful. It even appears in my Games and Apps and it says "Pre-ordered" under the game just like any other game that is pre-ordered. The developers even released an update for the game, which I received. Why is this happening?

I pre ordered Destiny 2 and lost my credit card and used a new one to pay and it says payment failed but shows up I'm my games and apps I'm not sure if it worked?

I pre ordered red dead 2 speical edition and its took the money out of my bank but on my payment and billing it still says pre order and not completed

When you preorder games using anything other than your Microsoft account balsnce, you are not actually charged until it gets closer to the release date. So even though everything may have looked like the purchase went through at the time, you may not have

I went into Microsoft Store and it says I own the game. I even uninstalled it and then reinstalled it without any issue. I also tried purchasing again earlier today. The System thinks I own it but my Order History says my payment failed.

 

It shows that you own it as it is still a pre order that you have placed but not paid for yet When the release date comes around and you don't fix the payment it won't let you pay it.

Pre orders are charged around 10 days before release on cards you still have time to fix it before the release date However you have not previously paid for the game so you are not being charged twice

 

i also have the same problem and my money still being taken -.- ! now it already taken myr 222.60 (usd 53.92) already half the price the game that i preorder but my order status still failed .... :C and now i have to wait for 48 hours for the order to
get cancel automatically but they still taking my money i just want to complete the purchase i dont want to buy it again they already take 53.92 dollars of my bank account :C
