    Cancelling pre-order games?

    Hi, as the Ambassador says you can cancel the pre-order by contacting Xbox support, I would recommend you call them by phone.

    support.xbox.com/.../pre-order-faq

    Can I cancel a pre-order?

    Yes, before we release the game, you can cancel your pre-order by contacting Xbox Support.

    Pre order

    If you preordered on or after January 1, it would count as a punch in your Games on Demand punchcard. You would need to make 2 more eligible purchases in order to complete the offer and receive the credits.

    How do I earn Rewards with the Games on Demand Pre-Order Punchcard?

    Earn 15,000 Rewards Credits when you pre-order three eligible (see descriptor in next question) Games on Demand titles in the Xbox Store between January 1, 2017 00:00 UTC and March 31, 2017 23:59 UTC. Please visit http://www.worldtimeserver.com or
    another world time database to determine local time.

    Since you only have one purchase, you have not completed the offer.

    In case of an pre-order, any and ALL pre-order bonuses/DLCs will be credited only to the account the pre-order was made to.

    It takes 96 hours for pre-orders to reflect on the website, and you must pre-order 3 titles to be eligible for the new promotion. Subsequently, you had to have pre-ordered the games during the promotional period in order to be eligible for the reward. If
    you pre-ordered prior to January 1st, 2017 then the pre-order is not eligible for the current promotion.

    Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We see you have a question on a pre-order. With a game pre-order all you need to do is cancel the current pre-order and then pre-order again with the correct card. There is no way of modifying a pre-order once it is
    made.

    do you get the perorder bonuses or otehr exclusive for xbox one backwards games if you had them before

    You only get pre order bonuses by pre-ordering certain games. By pre-order I mean ordering them before the game is released. It is not possible to pre-order a game that is already out which would be the case for all backwards compatible games.
