Pre order with Microsoft balance

Hi, I recently pre ordered a game using my Microsoft balance, but the balance isn't showing as payment going out. The points expire on 4th April, but the game release has been pushed back to 28th April. Could this be the cause to the payment not going out of the Microsoft balance?

i paid with Microsoft account balance and they did Not take the balance, i pre ordered a month ago...

If pre ordering a console falls under the same category as pre ordering games, then you should be able to use your Microsoft account balance for preorder.

I had the option to use ny Microsoft account balance at the point of pre-order, and it even states under the payment options that account balance can be used and is the only payment method charged immediately for pre-orders.

Our problem is changing the amount of balance taken after the order is in place.

Microsoft and Xbox gift cards now go to the same account balance too. They're interchangeable.

At least, in my frequent experiences in the UK.

Hello again, usually the system makes the payment 10 days before the release of the game.
