Pre-order thru the Microsoft Store, just want to verify I will get the gift cards.

Preordered GTA 5 and Halo 5 from the MicrosoftStore. Got GTA the other day and I just want to make sure I get the gift card code etc. I had a different email in my microsoftstore account but I changed it to my gamertag email account before I posted this.

How do you pre-order digital game copies?

The point of it is for example: right now on the Microsoft Store you can get 10$ Xbox gift card when you pre-order titanfall. When you try to pre-order it assumes you want the disc shipped to your house.

 

Pre-Order Halo MCC From Microsoft Store or XBOX Store

So I have been looking around at halo mcc pre-orders for awhile now and have been very curious about a couple of the offers out there. The microsoft store is offering a $10 gift card when ordered thru them, and the xbox store is not. Are these two stores
not connected in their deals? If so is there anyway to pre-order the version on the xbox store and get the deal for say the pre-loaded version to your hdd.

 

No idea why support have sent you here, no one here has access to your billing info.

Your best bet is to call phone support, as everyone here are regular users just like you.

 

It maybe a decent idea to contact the company you preordered with. Also, hang on to the recipt if you are worried.

PS... The rewards forum has NOTHING to do with preorders of games. I maybe wrong

When pre ordering from MS store you will get one of two promos right now depending if the game qualifies.

Some games will get you 15,000 microsoft credits towards your rewards account. And some ganes will get you a 10$ currency card.

Too redeem said currency card you will get a promo code sent to the email account associated with your gamertag. Once this promo code is recieved you will need to navigate back to the microsoft store online, add the 10$ currency card to your shopping cart
then you will need to proceed to check out where there will be an option to redeem promo code once promo code is entered you will notice the bill is now 0.00$ click check out and it will show you your digital receipt including a digital code to use on your
xboxs store.

You changing the email associated with your account recently is going to delay the process of recieving the promo code!
