    Pre-order Redeem codes not working


    I'm currently in Germany for a few years. My settings are still set for the U.S. I pre-ordered Rainbow Six Siege and just got the codes today for Vegas and Vegas 2. It will not let me download them because of this. Will it be a few days before it will
    let me download them or is it just a lost cause.

    Destiny Rise of Iron - Preorder

    I pre-ordered thru the xbox store on my console and got an email receipt but not sure if it has a code in the email or not, sort of looks like one but not exactly. Do I need a redeem code at this point or no? Destiny IN game still has pre-order listed
    or redeem code.

    It's possible that the codes aren't redeemable until Siege is released due to you being able to cancel your pre order before release for a full refund. That's the only reason I can think of, other than it being a regional thing.

    I've got friends that are already playing the game as of right now. Hopefully, it's just a regional problem.

    If you purchased US codes, and your region doesn't match then it's likely they will not work. The codes are region based and usually cannot be redeemed outside where it's sold.

    Then how is it that I am playing games that are suppose to come out days later in Germany when they are released in the U.S. by downloading them from the app store? It just doesn't make sense to me when I can do that but not redeem the codes.

    Most pre-order offers come with codes to redeem on your console for the items/content. Did your NCAA 14 pre-order come with codes? Did you enter the codes? What happened when you entered the codes?

    purchasing a physical copy of a game after already owning the digital.

    Probably the pre order content is downloadable trough a redeemable code.

    Chances are that they do work with your digital version, but I'm not 100% sure.
