Hi, i have pre-order destiny 2 and by default the payment will be taken to my Paypal account but i have the money in my xbox account. How to take money in my xbox account?

Why not give the option?

When payment is taken depends on the payment option used. It's all explained here: https://support.xbox.com/games/purchasing/pre-order-faq

If you have currency on your account and use that to pay for a pre-order it's taken right away from the account.

Keep in mind, most places that do pre-orders don't charge for the pre-order until the item releases.

You would have had to choose your Microsoft account balance as your payment method when you made the purchase. You would want to try contacting support and speak to billing to see about switching payment. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada or Contact Us | Xbox Support

Hi, digital pre orders paid for using your payment option won't be charged until ten days before release, as long as you add your new card as your payment option soon then your pre order shouldn't be affected as they charge the card that's in use on the
date the payment is taken.

As mentioned above, pre-order payment is taken 10 days prior to release...in your case, the Pen is released 5th November so payment would have been taken on the 26th October (a game I pre-ordered releases on the 5th and payment was taken 26th). If you cancelled the pre-order before the 26th, then no money would have been taken so no refund needed.

I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

Unfortunately, split payment is not an option when it comes to pre-ordering a game. It is because pre-order payments are collected to the payment instrument used such as a card 7-10 business days before the games release date. This is if you will use a credit card/debit card.

And if you decided to use a gift card/wallet credit the full price will be collected from it because it will be charged automatically on the pre-order date.

I hope this answers your question as to why split payment isn't an option when pre-ordering a game.

Payment for pre-orders are not taken until around 10 days before release. So the payment would not have been taken until now. Since Microsoft can't get the payment, they have had to cancel the pre-order. Your only option is to purchase it again.
