Pre order mission

I pre ordered 3 games in the list, COD, SWBF and Marvel Lego but only 1 of the 3 registered as a pre order on the mission. All games are now released and purchased.

Eligible Pre-Order Games

I want to pre-order three of the titles that are in the pre-order mission for this month. Do I have to pre-order the exact version of the game shown? For example, one of the games is Assassin’s Creed Origins. It shows only the standard edition but will it
still count towards that mission if I pre-order the Gold Edition of the game or does it only count towards the mission by ordering the version of the games shown?

Hi ABitOfFruit. Smwutches is correct. That pre-order went towards the Games on Demand Pre-Order punchcard. Since you didn't purchase three pre-orders, the mission was not completed.

As stated in the FAQ for this offer, you must make three eligible pre-orders during the offer period to complete this offer. Since only your Marvel Lego purchase was made during the offer, you did not complete the offer.

How do I earn Rewards with the Games on Demand Pre-Order Punchcard?

Earn 15,000 Rewards Credits and 5 MyVIP Gems when you pre-order three eligible (see descriptor in next question) digital Games on Demand titles in the Microsoft Store between October 1, 2017 00:00 UTC and December 31, 2017 23:59 UTC. You must pre-order

That seems a bit silly; the mission is to pre-order games so I missed the offer period because I pre-ordered too early? Can I cancel them and Pre-order again?

I assume this means I shouldn't pre-order games ever again in case this happens again.

Because you can cancel pre-orders anytime before the release date.

That actually is not a valid point since the pre order on demand missions can be cancelled anytime as well. I strongly believe that Pre-Orders should qualify.
