Pre-order Gift Receiver

So just like the title reads, I recently went on my installed games and noticed I was gifted Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon® Breakpoint Gold edition which included the base game, the Year 1 Pass, and a skin pack. I have played the first game, Wildlands, so I've
done my research on this game and know that Year 1 pass holders have the opportunity to play starting October 1st, 2019. My dilemma is that since i was gifted the game, it does not appear on Xbox as pre-ordered, but it is installed, along with the add ons.
Since i don't know where else to ask, i ask you: What am I to do or who am I to contact in order to get this resolved, if possible?

Typically pre-orders aren't eligible for gifting. So it would be tied to your account and you wouldn't be able to gift it. You'd want to make sure it has the option to buy as a gift before doing so. Otherwise, if you gift it after it's been released, they will not receive the pre-order bonuses.

have you seen what time the game will become playable? sometimes they put a start timer that on 1st October from THIS time it will be accessible

So I've reset, unplugged, and restarted, but nothing seems to work. Im guessing i can't play until release date, which isn't too far away. Thanks anyways xbox community.

Hi thank you for bringing this to the Xbox Forum for help. One thing it could depend on is the time zone of the person who gifted it to you as they may not be on the 1st Oct yet. You could also try and reset your cache by doing a Power Cycle on your console,
this may trigger the game to your date. When you go into store it should show that you own it as you said that it doesn't show pre-ordered.

Try a Power Cycle. Turn of Xbox, unplug from power point for 10 secs and then restart
Check purchase time zone, make sure early access is available
What does it do when you try to play the game?
You may need to re-install game (worst case scenario)
