10 days of the release. So you shouldn't have been charged originally.

They take the money on dispatch, I have only had one pre-order before and I think it arrived the day after release.

Well wife called. Guess the release day delivery is not guaranteed. The CS rep said that you have to pay for the $17 express shipping and then it would get to me within 2 days. And she asked about the Halo 5 order and it is 3-7 days. And I would have
to pay $17 to get that within 2 days of release. Basically,

only means that you may get it on release if you pay for the express shipping which can take 2 days from shipment. Even the Xbox Live Rewards site mentions the free release day delivery. Still supposed to get the $15 (15,000 rewards credits) for each pre-order
though the rewards. Hope that comes though since that was the reason I pre-ordered from the MS Store.

Kind of a vicious circle.

It would depend when you placed the pre-order. Microsoft only takes the money for the pre-order 10 days before the launch date.

If you had placed the order 12 days before launch and cancelled the same day, they didnt take the money from your account.
