Pre-order charged and need refund.

I am in need of having a refund due to an error being charged for a preorder immediately instead of the normal 14 days before release i have a Reference number from xbox chat support ref#
[Mod Removed]. They sent me here saying they could not refund it due to being in the preview program and i would get help here. Please help!

Pre order

I was pre ordering wwe2k19 and yesterday i didnt got charged and i wasnt being able to pre order again. I was charged one dollar by microsoft and i dont know why. I want refund i was charged POS Signature Purchase How i get that 1 dollar back?

Cancelled my pre-order, how long till refunded.

So inrecently cancelled my fallout 76 preorder,

I received an email that basically said, "if we charged you, wwe'l refund you." And i thought great, as i need the money to pay a bill.

It has now been 9 days since then and i havent received a refund or any other communication.

I have submitted a support request and only recieved confirmation that my pre-order was cancelled, not very helpful.

No one here can issue with a refund.

You need to contact support as they are the only ones who can issue refunds

In future,please do not post reference numbers on the forums,they are for phone/chat support only.

Also,if you are in the preview then you should post in the preview forums here Uh oh... that shouldn't have happened. if you have any issues.

If you haven't been charged yet, you can cancel the pre-order at http://account.microsoft.com and then pre-order the version you want.

If you have already been charged, you'll need to submit a refund request. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/subscriptions-billing/buy-games-apps/refund-orders

Keep in mind that if you pre-ordered with a credit card/Paypal, your order is not charged until within 10 days of the games release. If the charge had not gone through when you cancelled the pre-order, you wouldn't get anything back yet.

If it was charged, you would need to submit a refund request.

If you pre-ordered with a credit/debit card, then there won't be a refund, as you do not get charged for pre-orders until around 10 days before release of the game/DLC. If you pre-ordered with Microsoft credit, then you are charged straight away. You would have been refunded back in your Microsoft account if you paid with that.

Since that one's still on pre-order, if you haven't been charged yet, you should be able to cancel the pre-order at http://account.microsoft.com and then purchase the correct version.

If you have been charged, you can try submitting a refund request, but since the pre-order was over 14 days ago, a refund is not guaranteed.
