Pre order bonus' not showing up on backwards compatible games

Hey my problem happened after I loaded halo reach on my xbox one and said something like " load last time logging in on this xbox" or "load last load on other xbox" I hit A on the second option because I hadn't played reach in a bit and not on that xbox
yet. It loaded my spartan in without the legendary armor effect and the recon helmet pre order stuff and I looked for it for about 30 minutes. I checked the xbox market place when it asked me to download the map packs and it wasnt in there, I also loaded the
game back on my xbox 360 because of the issue and I dont know what else to try, if anyone has any ideas I'd love to hear them. This same thing also happened to Gears of War 2 with the pre order golden lancer. But I could really care less about that, all I
really want is my reach stuff back!

Thanks for keeping us updated. Then it's as I said, unfortunately. Seems like the pre order bonus content is not backwards compatible for that game. That is the case for some DLC content. An example I can think of from the top of my head would be a game
like Black ops 2. Half of the DLC is available, while the other is not for backwards compatibility.

Hello ArkAngels,

Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. Some content is not backwards compatible, and I've seen this be the case with a lot of preorder bonuses unfortunately.

If it was, you would be able to see it by going into "My games and apps" and highlighting your game. Press the start button and select "Manage game". From there, any content that can be installed will be there in the "Ready to install" section.
