    Pre-Loaded Game Question


    Sorry for all the questions lately, hopefully this will be my last one for a while.

    I am now installing (pre-loading) Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Which comes out tomorrow. So my question is what stops someone from playing the game today? Is it locked or whatnot?

    320 GIG GOW 3 Console Bundle?

    The Gears console is great! To answer the OP's question, the hard drive comes pre loaded with 6 or 7 arcade games. Once you delete those, you're around 312 gb.

    Pre loading issues

    I have recently pre ordered 2 games off the store and pre loaded them both the games are advanced warfare & gta 5.

    Once advanced warfare was released I clicked on it to play and it started re downloading all over again now the same has just happened with gta.

    I definitely pre loaded both games.

    Can anyone explain why this keeps happening?

    Preload feature for people that order physical copies

    I think what you are suggesting is just letting everyone pre-load the game. This would possibly increase the cost for developers or microsoft for the bandwidth to allow everyone to pre-load.

    How would you verify that someone pre-purchased the game from a retailer to stop everyone from pre-loading? Not that I am against it, just one of the questions that came to mind.

    The servers will still overload and crash.... it's happened before. Most recently the Diablo 3 release

    Plus there is a day one patch that will be getting installed. I think TOPP HATT is right in the installation of the game will continue when the game is released. We'll just have a head start.

    If you got to "games and apps" then down to "queue", click on it, you'll see it says everything for Destiny is "queued" which means it's ready for d/l. The 18gb d/l is to let you start playing the game while the other parts d/l and install. Pretty much like
    all the other games you d/l for xbox 1. It lets you start playing the game while the d/l finishes...
