    Practical Use for Mixer "Broadcast Everything" (why its a good idea)


    Imagine an XBOX that can broadcast your PC gaming to Mixer. I don't think XBOX realizes what they have here. The ability to Broadcast Everything from your XBOX could give the system massive appeal to those not wanting to spend upwards of $1000+ on a dedicated streaming PC or upgrades to an existing PC to make it capable of gaming and streaming at the same time. An XBOX with "Broadcast Everything" capabilities would be a legitimate alternative to these expensive PC builds needed to stream. How you might ask? It's pretty straight forward, The HDMI-in Port on an XBOX is capable of accepting video input from a PC and will display that input within the OneGuide application on the XBOX. Pair this with the ability to broadcast the OneGuide using "Broadcast Everything" and you have an XBOX that could be used for streaming PC to Mixer. This is huge, many of us own a PC & an XBOX but not a PC capable of gaming and streaming at the same time. Having an XBOX to take the job of encoding to lighten a PC workload would be a game changer.

    Thank you for contacting Forum support.

    Unfortunately, there is no way to disable Mixer and to use the options you are recommending you would have to contact Youtube and Twitch for more information/support.

    Xbox Mixer. Broadcast everything.

    It's Currently only with alpha as it's being tested but when all problem/bugs have been verified cleared then will be brought out to everyone else
