yeah i tried the usb update. can i pull the hard drive out and repair it with my computer or replace it?

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums with this question. Sadly, the original Xbox One is no longer being serviced if out of warranty. Have you attempted an offline update to your console to see if that gets everything sorted out?

Xbox One System Update Solution << select "I need to update my console offline"

If this solution does not work, in light of that model (original) of Xbox One no longer being serviced if out of warranty, then you would need to replace your console.

I hope that this information helps out. Let us know if the offline system update helps out.

Yes, I tried power cycling and reseting my xbox and everything else you mentioned.
