Powerline adapters bypassing the NAT

Just a quick question. If I used powerline adapters for my Xbox One, would I be able to bypass that NAT issues that I have been experiencing?

Short answer - Nope, they still get affected by the router and can actually make nat issues more common.

nat is a Routing Technology so the answer would be no because your router would still be connected.

As prideloss says, this will not bypass anything as the powerline adapters only work as kind of a networkcable without any routing capabilities. They are placed between your router/modem and the xbox instead of a networkcable or a wireless connection.

If its possible, could you bypass the Devolo powerline adapter and directly connect the Xbox with the router instead.

You will be "double natting" because the Actiontec is running NAT and so is the Apple Express, two routers = trouble

If the wireless distance is an issue have you considered powerline adapters instead?

You need to check the stats on the powerline adapters and see if they are doing NAT too. Like the other poster said it is really doubtful that they are doing NAT. Those are typically used just to extend the network signal from the router.
