    Powering and contoller issues

Alright to start off my contoller will not turn on my xbox one after the first time that I hard reset it or switch power options. After I turn the xbox on by saying "xbox on" and shut it down by holding the xbox button on the controller and selecting turn
console off, the controller will then not shut off. I have changed the batteries, switched to rechargeable batteries, done a hard reset, and switched power options

    :)

Lag in war games seems to be handled differently than lag in spartan ops.

In war games, when you move the control stick or fire, your character responds immediatly on your screen. The host fixes your position on other peoples screen after the fact. This is why you'll see that
bad "laggers" seem to jump around the screen. Its the game correcting their position the best it can with a slow connection.

In Spartan Ops, when you move the control stick or fire, your game sends that info to the host
before moving you. You don't move or shoot until after the host has received the command and acknowledges it. In bad lag situations, this is why you will "skate". Say when its lagging you press and hold the left stick for 1 second.
Your console doesn't move you until the host acknowledges that. When it finally does, say a half second later, your character seems to move by themselves, but really its just moving you to the left for 1 second, just like you told it to. Its just much later
    than you wanted.

I strongly prefer war games lag. Well until some "mystery guy" appears in my face with a shotty. Ahh!

Try syncing the controller by holding the sync button on both the controller (small button at the front) and on the console (left side just in front of the usb port) until the light on the controller flashes.

Samsung TV on/off acting as a toggle

Its just a power toggle. If you use xbox 1 to contol tv leave it on.
