  1. Powerbrick blew up?

So I accidentally plugged my 110v powerbrick to a 220v socket. I heard a little explosion where my xbox and the brick were. But there was no smoke.

I tried the brick again in a 110v but there's no light.

My question is, is my xbox 360 okay? is it just the brick that's damaged? I heard mostly it's just the brick. I hope the motherboard isn't fried.

I hope the Xbox gods can answer this.

    :)

  3. XBOX one elite warranty - is it covered across all Countries. if i buy in USA and use it in India, does the warranty is covered in India as well

All Xbox accessories are available for use in all countries, with a few exceptions to Tv tuners, Kinect (specifically commands) , powerbricks, etc... . So buying the Xbox One Elite bundle from the US would require an Indian powerbrick.

I'm not certain about the warranty though.

Sorry to hear it. The power brick for the Xbox 360 does not have a surge protector so far as I know. The best thing you can try though is to either purchase a new brick or borrow one from a friend (must be for the same type of console) to see if the console
    will still work.

Another option would be to contact phone support for your region to see if it's possible the surge would have affected the console.

Most portable electronics will work on any voltage from 85 to 265 volts. But your Xbox supply is less. Therefore you exploded internal PSU parts.

If a power supply meets design requirements that existed long before PCs existed, then only its power supply is destroyed.

Now, that AC power cord says what voltage it will connect to. If you have wiring that is required everywhere in the country, then that Xbox plug could never connect to 240 volts or a 240 volt receptacle. How could you possibly connect a 120 volt supply
to a 240 volt source? Your damage is directly traceable to someone who (apparently) violated well defined and 'no reason to ever violate' standards.
