  1. PowerA Xbox Series X Wired Controller gives double inputs on PC Game Pass

Hey guys, I'm having this weird issue where I try to play games through PC Game Pass and I plug in my Power A controller and every input is doubled. For example, pushing up on the left analog stick will register as two taps up even when I'm just trying to go up once. Left trigger will always register as both LT + Y and right trigger will register as RT + X. I thought it was a faulty controller originally, but my brother tried it on his and has absolutely zero issues. I tried playing some games with it on Steam to see if I have problems there, but it works beautifully. It looks like Game Pass games are the only problem. Does anyone else have this issue or maybe know what I can do? I'm at my wits' end here.

    Thanks in advance.

    :)

PowerA Xbox Series X Wired Controller gives double inputs on PC Game Pass

Hello, first it's a pleasure to be able to help you today.

My name is welcome to the community.

Hello Christopher, are you playing on Pc, what would be your operating system, Win 10 or 11?

Have you checked if you have the latest version of Windows installed, at 22H2?

See which version of Windows 10/11 you have

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/see...

Updates are often seen as optional.

If you haven't updated yet, click the link below, update, and make all subsequent security updates.

    Download Windows 10

    Download Windows 11

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo...

Also, make sure all Xbox Apps are up to date in the store, and make sure you have the Xbox Companion App installed, it works with the Xbox App.

Controller Not Being Detected By Edge Broswer

Hi. The controller I have is "PowerA Enhanced Wired Controller for Xbox Series X|S". There is a section for PowerA in verified controllers. It use to work for me just fine for over a year. I am not sure why suddenly it is not working. Any ideas?

The controller is wired. I'd rather not use Edge. It's an enhanced xbox PowerA controller

Is there an XBox series X/S controller that is solely wireless?

Hi and thanks for reaching out. I hope you’re doing well. I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you and I'll be happy to help you.

Yes, Microsoft does offer a wired-only controller option, known as the "PowerA Enhanced Wired Controllers for Xbox Series X|S." You can find more information about this controller, including purchasing options, on the official Xbox website at the following link: https://www.xbox.com/accessories/controllers/en.... It's worth noting that while there may be third-party wired controllers available, it's important to ensure they are authentic and have been developed in partnership with Xbox to ensure the best possible gaming experience. Be on the lookout for the "Designed for Xbox" logo on these products as a sign of their authenticity.

PowerA Series X|S wired controller issues

Hello, I'm Felipe and I'm an independent Community Advisor, and I'll do my best to help you.

It sounds like there might be an issue with the driver or configuration settings for your PowerA Series X|S wired controller on your PC. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

Check the controller settings: Make sure that your controller is recognized by your PC and that it is properly configured. You can do this by going to the "Devices and Printers" section of your Control Panel and looking for your controller. If it is not there, try unplugging and plugging it back in to see if it is recognized.

Update your controller drivers: Go to the PowerA website and download the latest drivers for your controller. Make sure that you download the correct version for your operating system.

Check the game settings: Make sure that the game you are trying to play has the correct controller settings configured. Check the game's options menu to see if there is an option to enable the use of a controller.

Try using a different USB port: Sometimes USB ports can become faulty or have issues with certain devices. Try plugging your controller into a different USB port on your PC to see if that resolves the issue.

Reinstall the Xbox App: If the issue persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling the Xbox App on your PC. This can help to reset any settings or configurations that may be causing the issue.

I hope these steps help you resolve the issue with your controller. Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns!
