    All of my past PowerA xbox controllers have worked well with my turtlebeach headset, idk why but when I got another PowerA controller because the joysticks on my other one was broke, my headset didn't work properly... I can hear all of my friends but they
    can't hear me only when I'm screaming and then they only just hear a whisper... I tried everything genuinely everything you could think of, and I've tried get replacements.. I got 3-4 replacements and not 1 of them work.. If anyone else is having this issue

    Official xbox one mic not working with discord

    it wont work via bluetooth as the controller does not pass audio vie bluetooth.

    wired then it technically should pic the headset up as a usb audio device. i normally use either a turtlebeach 3.5mm headset or my mobile phone headset.

    not sure why it wont work over usb though.

    Yeah. I tried that. It says no updates are available.

    Of note, I thought my Xbox Stereo headset had died so I bought one of the wireless TurtleBeach headsets that don't plug into the controller.

    It doesn't work on any of the 3 consoles either.

    Hi. The controller I have is "PowerA Enhanced Wired Controller for Xbox Series X|S". There is a section for PowerA in verified controllers. It use to work for me just fine for over a year. I am not sure why suddenly it is not working. Any ideas?

    Question: Will there really be a plug in headset that will work with the Xbox 360 headphones for the Xbox One?

    Yeah MS recently confirmed they are going to have an adapter for the Xbox One controller to have a 2.5mm headset connection. They haven't said if it will come with the console or be available at launch though.

    So any headsets designed to work with the 360 controller should be good TurtleBeach, Astro, Tritton even MS 360 headsets. The oldest style headset that came with the early 360s that had the volume and mute controls right in the middle probably won't work
    though.

    There is also the previously shown Xbox One controller specific headset, but it won't ship with the console.

    I have turtlebeach x31 and xc1 headsets. Turtlebeach is the best. Xbox unfortunetly make crappy headsets. Fact. Turtlebeach are the best. Just avoid getting the really old models. I tried the xbox bluetooth wireless headset. Had to shout into it for it to
    pick up my voice :D
