I know it will take you longer on an Xbox it doesn't have the same computing power as a PC would now if you're downloading a game from Game Pass you're actually better off to download the app onto your PC if it's a Windows PC and install it remotely from
your Windows using your PC as the powering source for your install

Thank you so much!

Thankfully I found a solution. I went to my programs and chose to "repair" the Xbox app. I also downloaded the iPhone Game Pass app. I restarted my computer and installed a game using the app on my phone. Now I can download games from the app on my PC with no issues. Hopefully this is a permanent fix.

Are you downloading from the Microsoft Store app? If so, try downloading from the Xbox app (not the console companion app) instead. If you don't have that app downloaded, you can download it at https://www.xbox.com/xbox-game-pass/pc-games?xr=shellnav

After my computer went through the lengthy update (wasn't aware I wasn't up to the most recent version), I was able to finally install the Xbox app and can now install all the games that come with Game Pass Ultimate. Kinda embarrassed that it was such a simple
fix. Thanks!
