    Power went out.. turned back on and I have green screen! Now what?!


    The power went out at my house for about a minute then kicked back on... xbox was just sitting at green screen. 20 mins later I just rebooted and it was green screen again so I let it sit then kinect white power light eventually came on and 3 red infared
    lights also turned on... but now It is a black screen!!

    What the hell......

    Stuck at the initial green XBOX screen

    i turned mine off accidently during the green screen , an then turned it back on and everything went fine .. downloading 2k14 right now

    i'm having an issue with my Xbox. this morning i had a slight 3 second power failure through out the entire house and my Xbox went out. i turned it back on but it got as far as the green Xbox screen and went to a black screen. is there anyway i can fix this

    Have you tried to power cycle the console? Hold the Xbox button on the console for about 10 seconds until it turns off completely. Wait a minute and then turn it back on. Hopefully this clears any bugs in the cache.

    Nevermind, it's back on. All I did was turn off the console, and did the power cycle thing. I booted to the green screen, I waited 5-10 minutes and it went back to the dashboard.

    Try a power cycle. Hold in the power button until the console shuts off. Wait a minute turn back on, when it turns back on, should have the green boot screen
