Power Usage in Xbox One

Hello. It is best to see what is launched first before deciding to do anything. The Xbox One might not even connect to the internet in your country yet because they are releasing other places first hand.

The voltage of the power supply generally depends on where you live in the world.

Microsoft has three PSU bricks - 100-110V, 220-240V, and 100-240V versions

100-110V is mainly for North America

220-240V is for mainly UK and Europe

100 - 240V is global

Microsoft doesn't support using third party power supplies
support.xbox.com/.../about-power-supply so using one of them is not advised.

BTW. I asked Xbox Support about this and they said that it would work in India.

Hey there "sheiku28"! "Hassassinade" and "xCometCrashx" are absolutely correct. My brother is an independent technician that works with a wide variety of tech and would tell you pretty much the same thing of anything... especially when it is an unknown.
Live services may not be immediately available in India, Microsoft hasn't spoken to such things yet. With that said, without Live you'll be unable to play any purchased games at launch. Check out this forum at an independent site, it's very much for you:

Yes, they confirmed that the console will not be region locked so you can use it wherever you want, that doesn't mean that you don't have to abide by the voltage of that country. They also don't have concrete evidence of what power supply will be included
in the console, what I said above is valid and since the console won't be available to India at launch if something does happen to the 110v power supply you decide to use a converter with or what not and it has an overvoltage problem you're going to have a
hard time getting it replaced as Xbox Support in India won't be able to order you a new one as the console itself isn't available in your region at launch.
