Power up get stuck

Howdy,

Check your power supply when it powers down. If the light is red, its the power supply, if its orange or green, its not. If it is red, try blowing some canned air into it, as dust likes to get stuck in there and clog it up.

Same exact trouble here - stuck on 66% for hours. We did the power down, unplugging the power and then resetting it. It gets stuck on the Xbox one green screen... Looking at resetting to factory defaults. Kind of scared to do this!

There is a known issue with this, for those that got the update early.

All you need to do is a full power cycle and let it redownload the 2 updates and your system should be back up and running.

If it gets stuck in the loop, follow the steps for a restore by holding down the eject and power button down.

Normally, the highest capacity 2.5" drives also have the highest power draw. That 1TB drive may be on the edge of what the 360's USB ports can provide on power-up and thus the drive's getting stuck in a half-ready state. Did you try the rear USB ports? They
may provide more power than the front ports.
