Power Supply Unit Replacement

I recently bought an Xbox One in USA when I was on a holiday. I brought it back to Singapore and set the Xbox up. I plugged it straight to the power socket (240V) and heard a pop and smoke from the power supply unit (PSU). What should I do now? I would like
to use this Xbox in Singapore.

If I move from USA to India will i get my PSU replaced for use in India . I do not mind paying for the replacement as my console is bought in USA .

Thanks for your reply . Actually my xbox is registered wit US account as i have been using it for a while and it might not show related accessories in india as it does in US. another problem is if I return my original PSU in exchange of india one and when
I again come to US I'll be stuck with same problem . So every time I chane country(we move a lot) I'll have to go through this again not to mention spend again and again for playing games.....

There's a lesson to be learned here. There are power differences between North America, European and Asian countries.

However, give phone support from your region a call and see if they can send a PSU for your region to you.

The power supply unit needs to be replaced. You need to replace the power supply unit if the light is still off or flashing orange. For in-warranty consoles, you can order a replacement Xbox One power supply
unit from
Device Support. You must register your product online to replace the unit under warranty. (The power supply warranty is the same as your console warranty.)

ok than I suggest you to Keep a eye on Amazon or Retailers like that... there you should find some PSU for india and other countrys, and if you have two you can let it stay at the place you Need it...

On your xbox one you easiely can Change your Region...

Yes that will be replaced. Register your xbox under xbox.com and than you can request an Exchange or Repair...

But at least you don^t even Need to replace it, of course it will be the best, finest, correctest way to avoid Problems.. You can try a converter, or Change the cable from PSU too the Electricity wall outlet with a cable from a "India-Device"..

But to avoid Problems I suggest you to order a Repair or request an Exchange at xbox.com.

It^s anyway good if you Console is registered to your account, if someone steals your xbox...
