Power Supply Unit Issue (Foreign Country)

The hardware within the xbox consoles are the same and run on the same amount of power so yes, as long as you get a power supply from Iceland it will work.

Just DON'T try and Mod your US power brick to fit/work with the iceland outlet.

It could be either the cord that connects to the brick or the brick it self also check to see if there is a voltage issue with the outlet and make sure it is plugged in to a wall not a power cord or power strip. I would also purchase a complete spare
cord or borrow a friend's first to see if that helps and if not it could be that perhaps the xbox was hit by a power surge or something that caused damage.

Hey, I know this is kind of unrelated to the post but I'm having a power brick problem as well of the same ilk. I'm in Lebanon to visit family and I tried connecting my xbox but there were sparks that
[Mod Removed - see Guidelines] from the lower brick. I did this about 4 times and everytime it caused a short circuit in the house. I then noticed the input voltage for some reason is only 100 - 127 and went to buy a transformer to convert
the current from 220 v to 110. However after trying to my xbox on with it nothing happens. The bricks input plug smells like burnt plastic. So I'm pretty sure its fried. Is there a place I can buy just another power brick for my xbox? Thanks for the help.

You may want to see about having the Xbox and the unit serviced or buying a new power brick unit from a local electronic store or somewhere online.
