    My Xbox one power supply is keep on shorting out when I plug it into the Xbox but when it's not the plug into the Xbox it's fine

    Xbox keep's restarting

    About the only thing I can recommend is make sure all connections are tight ,because the most common thing to cause random resets is if a cable is loose,and the vibration causes it to make intermittent connection,shorting out and resetting.

    Check the color on the power brick ?

    Not stated but what are the colors on your actual console ?

    Supply and Demand Failure

    because MS saw what Nintendo did with shorting supply on purpose to artificially inflate demand when the wii first came out. there were people camping out in the middle of the night to pick up the damn thing. myself included.

    Can you describe what exactly happens when it shorts out? What does the
    LED on the power supply block     do?

    If your power supply isn't working at all, you will need to
    set up a repair on the Device Support website     for a replacement power supply unit. (Ensure you have registered your Xbox One console's serial number to your account; the power supply is connected to your console warranty-wise)

    It is possible that your Power supply has shorted out. Do you have anyone with the same power supply that could lend you one to find out? I don't recommend plugging your supply into another console or theirs into yours if there could be a short causing it
    to fail. However this is a quick test instead of sending the Xbox in right away. Your power supply should light up yellow if on, and working.

    Tried all the steps, nothing works, it will be out of warranty as it is one of the original xbox one consoles.

    I will try a new power supply, would it not be the console then short circuiting?

    Hey there Thor! Since you mention being out of the country with a US console, are you using a wall outlet converter or did you get an entirely new power cable while you were in India? We don't recommend the converters, as they can sometimes not work or even
    short out the power supply. If you haven't already, please try an actual power supply sold in India and let us know if that helps. Thanks!
