Power cord for replacement unit - SR: 1435611447

    Hi there,

As far as I know, depending on the power cord itself, if it's just the cord (so not the power supply) you might find a matching one at an electronics store. As long as it meeds the power requirements for the console (and it fits the slot) the cord should
    be fine.

If it's also the power supply (only came with the original Xbox One console, both S and X have an internal power supply) then contacting Xbox Support is the best option to order a new power supply.

Xbox one External Hard Drive Question

Where he doesn't take a minute to think his drive is broke. No ms doesn't recommend a power supply one, they have no need to recommend one with a power supply because usb 3.0 powers fine. The only time you need a power supply is if it requires external supply because it draws more power.

This is why a 4tb external requires a plug, it requires more power to run because of the extra platters. But any 3.0 usb that doesn't have an external power supply requirement will have more than enough power from the usb port to run with zero issue.

if you are going to try to slam someone know tech. you can easily use a usb powered one, the point i was saying is if he has tried it on the xbox, tried different games, put it back on the xbox drive and it all works...

...maybe it's the drive? not the xbox. So, reiterated hope it helps.

Power supply requirement of Xbox one S

    Hi there,

as far as I know the Xbox One S should work fine between the 100 and 240v range, but to be sure please check the back of the console it will show what voltage is supported by the device in the small lettering on the right side of
the backside of the console (when looking from the back). If the 220v is indeed supported you won't need a transformer

Replacement external power supply for Xbox One S

    Hello Elcee1106,

The Xbox One S does not require a power supply, or power brick, the power supply for the Xbox One S is on the inside. It seems like what you need is just a new cord. Am I right or did I misunderstand?

    Hi

The Xbox One S internal power supply should be multi voltage and you should not require a transformer.
