    What amps does an XB1 PSU pull from AC power (220-240V)?

    I currently have no PSU and the electricity here is 240V. I've bought a genuine Microsoft replacement PSU of European origin (220-240V or ~120-240V not sure) from a 3rd party that doesn't have the AC kettle cord. I already got a new cord, a 3 pin 13A fuse
    type-G UK plug. Is this going to be safe? I don't want to blow the fuse (or the PSU/XB1), but I don't mind if the 13A is way too much (as in it would never blow). From what I gather, a mere 3A or less fuse would be suitable but I just don't know the specs
    for sure.

    I'm used to US plugs which don't even have fuses and I know the PSU itself has a fuse in case the worst happens. Regardless I will probably plug this into a voltage regulator running at 220V. I am just looking for confirmation. It has been difficult putting
    together my cords & PSU as this Xbox One is US in origin.

    tl;dr Can I safely use a AC kettle cord rated at 250V and 13A for the Xbox One with a 220-240V PSU with wall power of 220 or 240V?

    My xbox 360 power supply isnt work and in my country nobody sell the power supply; Just is avaible the xbox one power supply.

    This is the question; ¿The xbox one power supply works perfectly on my xbox 360 ? Please answer for buy it if work!! ;D

    If it's not a Microsoft Certified third party accessory for Xbox then it could potentially harm your Xbox. I suggest contacting Xbox Support for a replacement first party powersupply

    I just need to know if I can use any kettle cord like the 250V 13A-fuse type G one I have here. It suits the voltage and plug type but the cord isn't genuine like the PSU itself. I believe I need a 3A fuse, or less, if I want it to do me any good in preventing
    a surge but oh well.

    Does anyone have the specs (wattage, amperage, etc) on a XB1 PSU, US, UK, or any version?

    Hey there, yes you would also need a UK Transformer (unless the adapter can manage the power transform itself - which some do). Alternatively, you could just order a 'UK Xbox 360 Power Supply' and use that in your console instead of the American one.



    It would save a lot of bother :)



    The console itself is the same everywhere and the power supply just manages the electrical current from its local socket into the console. So a UK Power Supply would resolve this for you and would probably be (in my own opinion) the best method.

    OperativeManx 10, hey there!

    Welcome to the Country by the way! Many of our "D.I.Y" stores and supermarkets actually stock this equipment and any of them should be sufficient enough for you to use. Just ask for something called a 'US to UK plug adapter'.



    Simply put, it will plug into your power outlet (wall socket) and then your 360's power supply plug will fit into that.



    You can literally pick these up from almost any major store or D.I.Y shop.
