Power supply problem.

Hello , i ve got a problem with my xbox 360 pro. I got 3 red lights flashing the power symbol is solid green. My ac adapter has a solid orange light. The console won't turn on at all only the 3 red ligthts, no sound from fans nothing. I've looked it up
and the help section is saying that the adapter might be the problem. Its saying to change the adaptor with a friend or something. The bad thing is that not many people own an xbox 360 in my country . I do not want to buy a new adapter and find out that it
wasn't the problem at all.

Any suggestions?

If you tell them which country your xbox is from, and then tell them which country you are in now, then they will send you the power supply for the country you are in. So yeah it would work.

The E01 error suggests an issue with the storage in the console. Please follow the steps for your code at the link below.

Doesn't work as I said its telling me to get a new adaptor and that this "might" fix it.

Then you'll have no choice to get a new power source for your console. You can do so at the following link by clicking on Replace an Accessory

Adding to what xKamiCosby said if the power supply is fried then Microsoft will replace it if your warranty is still valid.

I would say that the problem is related to the power supply itself. Canada runs on completely different voltage and it may be causing the issue. You will probably need an adapter, or just a new power supply. Let me know what you find out, sounds interesting.

Hello

Your power supply should not be making any noise at all!! So if it is I strongly recommend contacting technical support.

Also the loudest noise your Xbox should make is when the disc spins round to load a game, other than that it should have a low unnoticeable hum to it.
