Power supply doesn't work?

my power supply burned out. I've tried plugging it into 8 different outlets, tried multiple different cords and it won't turn on. If I use my friends power supply it works perfectly. How can I get a new One?

Original Xbox 360 Wont turn on

Try cleaning your power supply socket. If they doesn't work your power supply is most likely damaged and need replaced.

I tried but I don't have another power supply to test. The power button doesn't flash red. My power supply doesn't flash, it is solid orange or solid green when I turn it on. Everything seems regular.

Sorry your power supply went out. Go to
https://myservice.xbox.com and start a repair request. During the process you can select a new power supply.

Try plugging the Xbox into a new outlet, if it still doesn't work with another outlet then try to borrow a power supply (the xbox's brick) and plug that into another outlet. If that still doesn't work then you may need to buy another power supply. Remember
that power supplies from the original Xbox360 is not compatible with the Xbox slim.

Hi HI IM TURK,

Sorry you're having issues with your Xbox shutting off. First, reseat all the cables on the power supply (wall, xbox, cables on the power supply) if you are plugged into a power strip, please bypass this and plug it directly into the wall. If that doesn't
work, then please try a different plug in your house. If that doesn't work, then turn the Xbox off for a while (30 min or so, and try again). Does the Power Supply change a color that's not normal during this? If all of these do not work, and you have a friend
with an Xbox, take your power supply over there and see if the same thing happens. If it happens with the power supply it's bad, and you'll need a new one. If it doesn't then it could be your Xbox, which we can give you a couple steps.

Hi,

What is the color on the power supply when the console is turned off? (It should be orange), when the console is turned on? (It should be green). If these are not the colors you are seeing then please make sure you are directly connecting the power supply into
a power outlet and not a power strip. If that doesn't work, try another power outlet.

If that doesn't work then that means you'll need to order a replacement power supply from the Microsoft repair site located
here. If your console is under warranty it would be a free exchange, if not it's a $35 charge for a new power supply.

If power supply idea doesn't work or if u want to skip it to another idea before the purchase of power supply send it to repair via eb games they saved my skin.
