    My power brick for my Xbox one has been having some problems as of the last few weeks with being in power surge protection mode with an orange light, however nothing more than 2-3 minutes before it would turn white on its own and everything would work fine from there. However a day ago now, I was planning on staying the night at a friend's place, and I usually take my Xbox with me as they have an extra, small tv. All I did this time was unplug the power bricks cord from a surge protector extension cord after waiting for a complete shutoff of the console. I didn't stay the night at that friends, so that night I plugged it back into my surge protector extension cord and since then it has been stuck with a constant orange light, no blinking. I have tried resetting the power brick through the unplug and wait ten seconds deal, and another unorthodox way which was slowing plugging the cord from the power brick into it until hearing a crack and then wiggle back and forth. Nothing has worked so far, instead only having a constant orange light whenever plugged in. When tried being turned on and sometimes randomly the Xbox itself will make a small beep similar to the disk eject but instead constantly and doing nothing. I have a replacement power brick on the way but it is going to take nearly a month to get to me. Just wondering if anyone has any solutions that might work till then.

    Which Xbox One Console do you have? Xbox One original (external power brick), Xbox One S, or Xbox One X? It might be a power supply failure if you've had any recent power surges or outages without your console being plugged into a surge protector. If you
    have the Xbox One original, then buying a new power supply brick may solve your problem.

    Hi there! Christopher here, an Xbox fan and been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. I had the same issue with my Day One edition and unfortunately my solution was to sent it to a hardware expert, it seems I messed up with some internal hardware and there was no "practical" solution to my issue. And it seems it has happened to you as well, I totally understand the frustration of all of this.

    Hi,

    I had a similar issue with my power brick (years ago)

    My solution was to blow all the dust out of it (you will be surprised how much comes out of it)

    I had to make it several times until it did work again. The power brick shouldn't be warm !

    If you have an air device the better.
