Power solution

You should never use any type of stepdown/power converter with your console.

You would need to buy the correct power brick for the country you will be using the console in.

It is normal for developers to wring more performance out of a console platform over the life of the platform. Go play Saint's Row then go play GTA V if you want to see how far devs have come on the 360.

No. This violates the rule of console performance being fixed for the life of the platform. It fractures the user base and games won't support the extras because they can't rely on them being there.

I personally hope
they up the RAM quality with a RAM pack, as SEGA have done in the past.

In the past when clockspeeds were measured in the low 1's or 10's Mhz range, adding RAM in that fashion was possible to build for. The RAM packs were also included with the games
thus working around the problem of how to handle fracturing the user base.

You are not going to see any expansion for processing over USB. It's too slow and too low bandwidth. There are no exposed expansion busses on the Xbox One or PS4. Everything is bespoke.

If you want an expandable device, buy a PC.

Sorry, if MS still had some "ace" up their sleeve then you'd be seeing true, full HD games already and developers would be excited about the hardware. Sadly MS sacrificed power for the Kinect so people can yell at their TV's to change the channel. Seems

@lenny, when has misterxmedia ever been right? That site also said XBOX One BF4 would be getting a patch that would make it 1080P. I'm still waiting for that one.

1: Problem with add-ons is that you have "the have's" and the "have not's" which does a developer develop a game for? the biggest user base, and with EVERY add on to date, the largest user base is the "have not's". Just look at the original Kinect, best
selling add-on to date, and yet games were thin on the ground.

3: Possible, especially as Sony has already said that the PS4 will have a shorter life cycle than the PS3.

4: Again possible, especially as Microsoft have never said the Xbox One couldn't do 4K gaming, whereas Sony has said the PS4 definitely cant do 4K gaming.
