    Power save vs instant on

Anyone know how much more power is being used by the Xbone while it is in its "instant on" state vs the power saver setting? I assume it's similar to putting your cpu to sleep, but I'm just wondering if it's worth using instant on seeing as the only difference
is about ten seconds of start-up time and not being able to start it using the kinect.

    :)

Xbox keeps coming out of instant on mode

My console also goes into "energy saver" vs. staying in the "instant-on" mode automatically. Bugs Suck.

Change your power settings from 'instant on' to energy save.

  5. I'm sure you could look at the specifications on the box that your console came in or the instructions/guides your console came with - there's usually regulated mandates that require that kind of information, so I'm sure you could find it there. Failing
that, you could always try both methods, then go outside and check your power meter to compare the difference.

    XBOX 1 Issues

Try putting it in power saving mode instead of instant on, seems like the instant on feature causes alot of issues.

Xbox is unresponsive sometimes when using instant-on.

So let me get this straight, you did all that, but didn't turn back on Instant On? You're on Power Save if I read that right?

In which case you could've saved yourself a whole lot of time and effort and just switched on Power Save in the first place, without doing the rest.

Instant On is the problem, if you use Power Save there's no issue.
