Power Outage Caused One Guide to No Longer Work

I have had my Tivo hooked up with my XBoxOne for a long time with no issues until today. Last night there was a power outage while I was watching Netflix with my XBoxOne. Today I turned on my XBoxOne and now when I try and watch TV, all I get is a black
screen and no audio. It occasionally says that no signal was found, but then goes right back to the black screen. I tried changing out the HDMI cable and it still wouldn't work. I reset the XBoxOne and the Tivo multiple times and that didn't help either. Bypassing
the XBox completely gets me the Tivo and TV on screen, it just seems like there is an issue with the XBox for some reason.

Xbox one dead after power outage

It's in the plug. The power outage might of caused a surge and blown the fuse. One way to quickly check is looking at the power supply unit (power brick), does it have a light on it at all? If not then it's getting no power and it's more than likely the
fuse in the plug.

 

Xbox 360 console won't turn on with specific HD

Ok so I just figured out that it couldn't have been the power outage because the xbox is plugged into a surge protector (I didn't know that was what that was lol). So now I have no idea what caused the hard drive to fail.

Sorry to hear about the OneGuide trouble. Have you tried running through the OneGuide set up again to see if that helps clear up the black screen trouble? If you're still seeing issues after giving that a go, do you have a different output device you can
plug into your Xbox One and test?
