    Power On

My Xbox One was working fine yesterday but now when I tried to turn it on with the controller it just blinks, when I turns it on by the console it starts then turns off. I tried to unplug the power adaptor then turn it on the logo flashed then turned off.
The light on the power brick starts white then turns orange, now I don't even get the logo on screen. What else can I do?

    :)

    Power on.

I have the same issue repeating itself nearly everyday (for years now, ive owned this console since day one). Every night/morning i turn off my system by holding the power button for a few seconds till it powers off.

2-3-4 even 5 times a week it powers on by itself. There is no pattern whatsoever.

Its not the Kinect, that piece of garbage stopped working a few months after buying it, so its not even plugged in.

I have eco start up (obv. kinect not connected).

Updates are manual, so its not that.

Power is 100% off, when i wake, its already on.

I dont have an outlet handy HERE, its on a power bar (not ideal i know) BUT, it was plugged to the wall at my parents place, and it did it there too. So wall outlet, power bar is irrelevant to the problem.

Im getting quite aggravated, when it happened living with my family, i wasnt paying the electric. Now im on my own, and its racking my bill up! Not mention, i have to replace my tv, because my home screen is BURNING deeper and deeper into my screen.

All i see is unresolved posts here, which angers me more.

YEARS, LITTERAL YEARS, AND NOT ONE SOLVED POST.

When i finish this post ill be cancelling my ONE X pre-order, i aint supporting ****, that wont support us.

Its been 14 years, its time to go. Maybe Sony actually cares about customer support.

This might be due to the faulty original Xbox One power button, I suggest you wipe off the dust on the button and make sure no objects are placed in front of your console.

power down your console hold power button for 5/8 secs.

Also unplug console at the wall and leave it for a few mins.
