power on, after shut down

    My xbox one turns itself back on by it's self after I turn it off. How can I fix this?

    How do you turn your xbox one off

    mine was acting a bit "funny" on me after I shut it down during a very LONG download of RYSE, so tonight I will just unplug it see if that will shut down the power block, that's the only noise I ever hear on this system the faint fan on the power block.
    what I meant by "funny" is before the download shut down it would be dead quite after it shut off, since the DLC the fan has stayed on.

    power light flashes after shut down

    If you have it in low power state then it is just downloading an update either for a game or the system. if it was for the system then the light would turn orange as to force you to start up from a cold boot to install the system update.

    Can you say how your power settings are? Settings --> Power & Startup --> Power mode and startup.

    To my experience, my console (with the same settings, except for the auto-update setting) goes into sleep mode when I turn it off. After a short period of time, it 'turns on' so it can fully shut down. Is this what you mean? Or is it different than that?

    something different. After I turn it off, it turns back on in about 3 minutes ready for use. This just started after the last update about a week ago.

    Is your console an original Xbox One with the touch sensor as a power button, or is that a Xbox One X or S model, with a mechanical power button?

    Its an original Xbox One with the touch sensor as a power button. I have tried wiping the sensor clean, but that didn't work.

    Are there devices nearby with strong electrical and/or static fields? For example, there are videos from consoles (including the Xbox 360 slim that also has sensor touch buttons) going crazy when there are neon light tubes or those

    decorative plasma balls     nearby.

    If that is not the case, I'm afraid your console has to be serviced through
