Power Off Controller option for Android

I'm having the same issue on 2 Xbox One S's.

Game Pass app for Android 9.

Xbox OS version 10.0.18362.6065

(19h1_release_xbox_dev_1908.190807-1720)

Version is the same on both consoles.

•Power mode set to instant-on.

•Turning off storage when powered off is unchecked.

•Allow remote installations is checked

•Show progress remotely is checked

•All Xbox App Connectivity options are enabled

Tried toggleing options above and restarting.

Tried soft factory reset.

Tried clearing cache for Game Pass app.

Where are the options to change data limits on YouTube and xbox one?

And can I control usage for both on my android tablet?

I just got an series s the other day and encountered the same issue. I was able to resolve it by changing the power settings to instant on and powering off the system via the following steps:

Hold Xbox button on the controller -> Select "Turn off console"

--> Repro rate 3/3

Failure Conditions

The system will boot back up within 20 seconds if the system:

- Is set to energy saving mode and powered off via the power options accessed via the controller as well as the settings app

- Is set to instant on mode and is powered off via the Full shutdown option in the settings app

I don't have a rechargeable battery yet, at this point I was thinking more of using it to power the controller rather than batteries, but it's good to know about the standards and charging.

USB has a set of standards that have to be adhered too. It should work fine although it may not charge the controller as quickly.
