Power menu keeps popping up as well as console starts by itself

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

Please reset the power supply of your console by following the steps below:

1. Unplug the power cord from the console.

2. Wait 10 seconds.

3. Plug the cord back into the console, and then press the Xbox button on the front of the console.

After that perform a reset on your console keeping your games and apps. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

Found a solution in a video as well. Had to reset to factory losing profiles and saves. Seems to only affect the original version. My Scorpion X updated same time and was fine.

My solution was to turn of the XBOX by holding down the power button till it turned off. Then hold the sync button and eject same time starting with pressing sync first with your middle finger then thumb on eject and hold them. Then tap the power button, it will power up with one beep keep holding sync and eject till second beep. A screen will pop up with trouble shooting options. Choose the factory reset option. At the top of that menu is a option to keep your saves and loaded games pick that option and wait for it to restore itself. Relog back in your profiles starting with your primary or whomever was the head of the XBOX. This will retain your online status.

Seriously, this started a few days ago. Could get out of the Blu-ray.

Now playing a game and can't get back home.

I press the home button and I hear the side menu pop up, but nothing is showing.

If I long press the home button it bring up the console power down, narrator, and magnifier menu. So the home button is working.

Just not for bringing up the side menu.

When Disc 2 is inserted into your Xbox One console, highlight the Game's tile and press the 'Menu' button on your Xbox One controller. On the pop-up menu, select 'Manage game' and check the 'Ready to install' list to see if your DLC pops up.

Thanks for coming to the forums. Sorry for the issue with console unable to update or get off the start up screen. In this instance we recommend to do another reset. While the console is on and on start up screen, hold the sync button one used to pair the
controller. After holding for a few seconds the troubleshoot menu should pop up. Then select reset console and reset and keep my games and apps. Most likely cause is a bad reset which caused a corrupt file. Let us know if you were able to get the troubleshoot
menu up.
