Power issue xbox 360 E

I just bought a xbox 360 E in America but brought it to China. The adapter I had fried and so I bought a new one but it's a Chinese one but now my xbox power light won't stay on. The new adapter has a orange light on and the xbox power light is green but
won't stay on. Can this be fixed?

Hi all i have a xbox 360 e all all works brill the thing is i come of last night full power down and took plug out of the wall, but i have seen that there is a green light on the power supply but there is no power at all going to the power supply and its
bin of for 12h with no power going to it. but like i sed all work ok, is this ok and notmal for the xbox e power supply to keep power in the power supply.

 

Sorry to hear it. As the power is different in the two countries, as you've found, you risk damage to the power brick and possibly even the console.

Where did you purchase the new power brick from? If it is a 3rd party brick then that may be why it's not working. You should only purchase accessories from a trusted source such as Microsoft to be sure you are not buying a mislabeled 3rd party item.

 

Its called LEAP. the power brick looks exactly like my broken one just a different plug in.

 

I've just recently bought the Xbox 360 Star Wars edition console and when I first turn it on it keeps chirping and then shortly after it shuts off.. I've even replaced the power supply. Yet it's still doing it

 

spiffyweevil7 - just because it looks the same doesn't necessarily mean that it's not a 3rd party device. if you paid a low price for it then odds are it is 3rd party. you're looking around $60 for one in North America
