I have a standard American Xbox360 console that I would like to use in Israel (220-240 Volts). Do I need a wattage transformer or will a simple adapter work just fine? If I need a transformer, would it make more sense to buy a 220-240V PSU? Will that
even work? Do they sell one? Thank you.

    :)

  2. Power conversion problem

Hey mate, do NOT use a power/voltage converter for the Xbox 360. Doing so can damage your power supply, and worse, your Xbox 360 console. In this case, you'll want to purchase a power supply built for that region to use with your console. Please note that
you will experience issues trying to use games. an account, and console from a different region other than the one in which you are residing, though.

Voltages are the same, the wattage is different, but this makes little difference, you still need a step up transformer. Make sure you buy the correct one, if you're not sure ask. If you don't the buy correct unit, you can blow your 360's PSU and the 360
    with it.

You should never use any kind of voltage converter with your console as it can cause no end of problems.

You would need the correct power brick for the country you are using the console in.

  5. As Badger has said, you would just need a 220-240v power brick with the correct mains plug. Since the 360 console runs on a 12v supply, the voltage output of the power brick is the same 12v no matter what country you are in.

  6. I wouldn't run the risk or trust buying a converter especially on a 360 which I believe mine had the three prongs instead of just two which is another reason those things over heat cause sorry but XboX did some stupid stuff like almost everyone I know that
had one has been thru 3 rings of death and had to ship to McAllen,Texas which is near the border to mexico lol i went through so many it hurts just thinking about all the upgraded gigs i bought. GREAT ONLINE GAMING SYSTEM that why I have the Xbox One and not
a PS4. PS4 is almost the same expect for xbox looks more of a computer now or windows 8 then PS4 where it really hasn't changed much including the online gaming which sorry to say I hate the PS4 especially because it looks very similar to the PS3 outside and
the menu. But ya i wouldn't even run the risk of possible burning up your system or something worse cause of the volt change I'm sure the PlayStation and Xbox over seas have that cord you could probably try and see if the it fits the back of yours and use
the cord but then again your running more volts to a machine that only suppose to use 120 V or made i believe where has where u are would probably melt your US Xbox at least inside or make it over heat first time if you it doesn't explode like a bomb. I've
had a modified PlayStation so I could play Japanese games on my us made PS i had to buy a "Flip top" cover and take the original black one off cause when u have US made system it will not play Japanese games' directly you use to have use a boot disk first
and flip open the open the top and take the disc out put the Japanese one and push circle n if the screen turned green it was bout to start if it turned red you did something wrong like not let the boot disk load all the way. You might wanna think of just
investing in a Xbox that's made in that country cause I'm sure they know the voltage is higher in Europe at least and Asia. I'd ask first before melting my a Xbox in your home LoL

All xbox ones/360's are the same.

It's only the power brick & some software that are different depending on which country you are in.

An xbox one from the U.S. will work fine in the U.K. as long as long as you have the correct power brick.

The only other issue is that it won't play region 2 blu-ray
