    Controller console power issue

    I've got an unusual problem and I hope someone can help me out.

    I can't say when it started, but every 4 days, on the dot, my controller refuses to power on the console. The only way to "fix" this problem is to unplug the console and allow it to restart. A hard reset (power button hold for 10 seconds) does not correct
    the issue.

    I don't use Kinect and there's no way to voice activate the console as the controller isn't connected.

    Has anyone experienced this problem? Is there a solution which doesn't involve unplugging my console?

    I really, really, really do not want to factory reset my console. I have over 500GB of games on the console and reinstalling them would take nearly 2 weeks.

    Yeah if you try to us the US power supply in India odds are youll likely fry you xbox.

    Do you have it plugged into a surge protector or directly into a wall? The X Box One was designed to be plugged directly into the wall, as it has a built in surge protector. The X Box One will not receive full power if plugged into a surge protector and

    I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with your power supply unit.

    On the original power supply unit, a flashing light would've indicated that the power supply was faulty. This may also be the case with the one you are using right now.

    Some aftermarket power supply units have either a sticker or engraving indicating what each color and LED behavior means, do you see this on yours?
