power cables second hand xbox

hello everyone

please please help me , I bought preloved xbox 360 for my 6yrs old son but something not right with the cables :-/ please have a look and tell me i’m not wrong saying to the seller that is wrong cable? on the console port you can see solid bar across and
the cable plug has a divided bar so I can’t plug it in? or im doing something

wrong?

Where are you located? Do you not have a Microsoft store near you? They will be able to assist you further, however, from looking at the images you posted, it looks like you need Falcon/Opus - the middle one, but I am not an expert so don't take my word
for it.

I know the 360s had different power plugs dont know if it depended on the model or what.

It looks like maybe plug you got was possibly for a different model.

Like JennyInTheCity said maybe you could go back to where you bought it from and see if they might be able to either show you how they got it working or even exchange it for the right one for you.

you I’m not a specialist but just cant plug in. I purchased it on Ebay and he is strongly disagreeing with me. just read a bit about it and is like 3different plugs :-0 I just don’t know which one I have to buy to replace it

awww thank you, im i. N wales UK nothing around lol not worth a trip as paid ony £30-40 for it but might just return as I cant see any cables for sale either. or they cost like £20 so absolutely not worth it, bless my little son he only wanted to play
one game on it “skate” lol

Indeed you got the wrong cable.

The older Xbox 360 consoles lived through multiple revisions with different power needs. So to prevent the "wrong" power supply to be plugged into a console, they coded the plugs.
