    On my xbox 1s the part of the power cable that goes into the xbox is over sensitive and the slightest movement results in the xbox turning off and 10-15 minutes of trying to find the spot to where the console turns back on. how do i fix this?

    replace the figue 8 power cable before you short it out and destroy the xbox.

    I'm not sure if they would cover acts of dog. What I would recommend is calling phone support to find out if they would replace it or if you would need to purchase a new one.

    Honestly, you would be better off buying a replacement cord through Microsoft or Amazon ( I would put your model number when searching). That way you don't get the wrong cord.
