    i just got my Xbox 9 days ago and my dog ate clear thru my power cable and my hdmi cord. are those covered in the 90 day warranty from Microsoft?

    Power cable.

    I'm not sure if they would cover acts of dog. What I would recommend is calling phone support to find out if they would replace it or if you would need to purchase a new one.

    Won't be covered, HDMI cables are super cheap on Amazon (contrary to popular belief a 10 buck HDMI cable is as good as a 50 dollar monster) and as far as a power brick youll probably have to buy that from MS directly.

    OP did say the dog ate through the power cable and HDMI, I don't think he would be covered though, good job it wasn't plugged in.

    replace the figue 8 power cable before you short it out and destroy the xbox.

    Honestly, you would be better off buying a replacement cord through Microsoft or Amazon ( I would put your model number when searching). That way you don't get the wrong cord.
